Celebrate in Style: WoW Players Get Extension on Anniversary Currency Spend

WoW Patch 11.1 Auto-Converts Unused Bronze Celebration Tokens

Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert any remaining Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.

The World of Warcraft 20th-anniversary event, featuring the acquisition of Bronze Celebration Tokens for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles, concluded on January 7th. Blizzard confirmed these tokens would have no future use.

This automatic conversion ensures players won't be left with unusable currency. The conversion ratio mirrors the in-event exchange rate.

While a release date for Patch 11.1 is unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent update schedule and following the conclusion of the current in-game events (Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways).

This timing unfortunately means the conversion will likely happen after the second Turbulent Timeways event ends. However, Timewarped Badges, the currency obtained through the conversion, can be saved for future Timewalking events, as none of the associated rewards are being removed.
