MegaPunches are, essentially, super moves. Similar to Critical Arts in Street Fighter, once your Hyper Gauge fills enough, you can unleash a devastating strike to take down your opponent. There's already a wide range of these moves, and two more are now available for boxers to acquire.
The new MegaPunches add a wild, animal-inspired flair. Flame Bone, for instance, draws from mythical dragons, engulfing everything in flames and dealing critical hit-based damage. Frost Fang, meanwhile, chills your punches with ice, freezing enemies in place and damaging them as long as the icy shield remains active.
Mega!But Boxing Star isn’t just adding new special moves—it’s also introducing fresh Gym equipment so your fighter can train between fights. The Deadlift machine boosts skill damage and can be upgraded to level 8, while the Training Timer reduces the time needed to improve skills.
Sure, it may not offer a realistic boxing simulation (unless we’re talking Superman vs. the Hulk), but Boxing Star certainly doesn’t hold back on flashy, extra content.
