Shattered Sanctuary introduces World's Crown, a chilling new zone featuring blood-red lakes, gravity-defying upward-falling rain, and menacing, jagged structures. This expansive, dark, and unsettling area is the largest zone Blizzard has added to the game to date.
The Demanding Diablo Encounter
The centerpiece of the update is the multi-phased battle against Diablo. This challenging fight tests players' skills with Diablo unleashing iconic attacks like Firestorm and Shadow Clones, amplified by the power of the final Worldstone shard. A new move, Breath of Fear, adds another layer of difficulty, demanding quick reflexes and strategic positioning. Players will utilize El'druin to counter Diablo's devastating assaults.
New Challenges and Rewards Await
The update also includes new Helliquary Bosses, designed for cooperative gameplay, and Challenger Dungeons with randomized modifiers that require adaptability. The new bounties offer rewarding challenges with superior loot compared to other areas.
