Once upon a time, DC's Batman enjoyed a seemingly endless stream of new video games. The Dark Knight reigned supreme, and Rocksteady's acclaimed series arguably revolutionized the superhero game genre, a legacy felt even today.
Lately, however, Batman's game appearances have dwindled. A true standalone Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. While comic fans eagerly anticipate numerous upcoming superhero titles, those yearning to don the cowl of Bruce Wayne must look to the past for the best Batman games.

He appeared in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though Rocksteady's offering isn't strictly a Batman game. The Arkhamverse, however, received a VR addition.
