This app offers a modern twist on crossword puzzles: scanwords! Access our second Sloword app directly from the initial screen (by clicking the image) or via the "Settings - Other applications" menu.
Russian scanwords are unique. Unlike crosswords in other languages, they frequently incorporate literary references, humor, and current events—a testament to the Russian people's deep appreciation for language.
The app features a diverse range of scanwords: easy and challenging, with photos, and employing various question styles ("one word," "one word, two words," etc.). Each page features a character from our fun cast.
All scanwords are free. The app provides a yearly collection (52-53 issues, 20 scanwords each), consuming roughly 50MB of storage due to optimized image and text sizes.
No internet connection is required once the scanwords are downloaded. New issues are released every Friday, with optional weekly reminders. Automatic downloads occur upon app launch, preventing redundant downloads. Individual magazine downloads and deletions are also possible, or you can download all magazines at once through the settings.
The app's core features, including access to all scanwords, are free, supported by minimal advertising. Each page displays a single banner ad, and a single interstitial ad appears before each scanword. The advertising does not interrupt gameplay. Viewers are rewarded with free hints for watching advertiser videos.
Users can optionally: a) disable ads permanently, b) purchase a subscription (removing ads and providing unlimited hints), or c) accumulate hints. These options are detailed in the "Shop" section.
Privacy Policy:
- We use the standard Android advertising identifier solely for ad placement and performance analysis. This identifier is only linked to personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers (SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI) with your explicit consent.
