Warframe: 1999's March Update: Techrot Encore Brings Boy Band Bosses and More!
Get ready for a blast from the past (and the future!) as Warframe: 1999 receives a major content update this March: Techrot Encore. This update, revealed during a Digital Extremes devstream, introduces the highly anticipated 60th Warframe, Temple, alongside four new Protoframes and a wealth of new content.
But that's not all! Prepare to face a unique challenge: the Technocyte Coda, a newly-formed Lich adversary. These aren't your average foes; they're the mutated members of the boy band On-Lyne, previously featured in the game's ARG.
To combat these new threats, players will have access to four new Scaldra weapons, offering diverse combat options. Further additions include enhancements to the Romance & Relationships system, a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin, and of course, the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe.
Y2K Style in Full Effect!
The unique Y2K aesthetic of Warframe: 1999 continues to charm, and the "boy band turned cybernetic monstrosity" enemy concept is undeniably captivating.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Leading up to the March update, players can enjoy the return of Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast (starting February 6th), new skins, and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering additional rewards.
