EA Sports UFC 5 receives a significant update on January 9th, launching at 1 PM ET for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This update, Patch 1.18, introduces undefeated fighter Azamat Murzakanov and addresses several bugs.
The update demonstrates EA Vancouver's continued commitment to EA Sports UFC 5, following player feedback regarding the initial roster. The addition of Murzakanov, boasting impressive stats (97 power punch, 95 accuracy, 94 ground striking), significantly enhances the Light Heavyweight division. Three additional alter egos are also included, though their associated fighters remain undisclosed.
Beyond the new content, Patch 1.18 includes gameplay adjustments – reducing the muscle modifier's stamina cost – and bug fixes. These fixes address translation errors, a Ranked Championship issue ("Stand and Bang"), and outdated fighter portraits.
Furthermore, EA Sports UFC 5 joins the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier via EA Play on January 14th, expanding its accessibility to subscribers.
