Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Finally Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game, Botany Manor, have been rescheduled for a January 28th, 2025 launch. This charming puzzler, developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, will be available on both PS4 and PS5.
The delay, announced earlier, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. While the game initially launched on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC to widespread praise in April 2024, PlayStation players have had to wait a bit longer. Even with the new release date confirmed, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-ordering isn't currently an option.
Expect Botany Manor to be priced at $24.99, consistent with its other platform releases. True to its design, the game remains a one-time purchase, free from microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store, mirroring its absence from the Switch and Xbox versions.
A Welcome Addition to PlayStation's Puzzle Lineup
Botany Manor's strong reception, boasting an 83/100 average score and a 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic, solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its relaxing atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and engaging exploration have captivated critics and players alike. Its arrival on PlayStation is poised to significantly enrich the console's already impressive collection of puzzle titles.
January 28th will mark the completion of Botany Manor's cross-platform rollout, with the game finally available on all initially announced platforms. While Balloon Studios remains tight-lipped about their next project, Botany Manor's PlayStation launch coincides with other notable game releases on the PS Store, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
