Pokémon Center Hiroshima, currently located on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, will relocate to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station, around April 2025. This move marks a new chapter for the store, which originally opened in June 2015.

Meanwhile, a brand-new Gyarados Plaza is opening on March 24, 2025! Located on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Hiroshima Station building (Minamoa), this plaza features large play equipment designed after Gyarados, the symbolic Pokémon of Pokémon Center Hiroshima. The Pokémon website describes it as a place "where people of all ages can spend time with Pokémon in their own way." Initially, reservations will be required to use the playground equipment; details will be announced on the official Minamoa website.
