Mastering the Haunted Mirror in Phasmophobia: A Guide to Ghost Hunting
The Haunted Mirror stands out as one of the safest Cursed Objects in Phasmophobia, offering significant rewards that outweigh the risks. Its function remains consistent across game updates, making it a highly recommended item to utilize if encountered during an investigation.
The Mirror's primary benefit is revealing the ghost's current favored room or area. A panoramic view of the room is shown in the reflection, enabling quicker ghost location and equipment setup, thus mitigating potential dangers.
Typically found hanging on a wall (as seen in 6 Tanglewood Drive) or on the floor in a predetermined spot, the Haunted Mirror, like all Cursed Objects, spawns in a fixed location on each map; the type of Cursed Object is randomized.
To use it, simply pick up the Mirror and interact with it using the designated button (mouse or controller). The reflection will display the ghost's preferred room. However, remember that on Professional difficulty and above, the ghost's location may change after a period of time.
Caution: prolonged viewing depletes sanity. Holding the Mirror for its entire duration will shatter it, triggering a Cursed Hunt at your location. Therefore, use it when sanity is high and be prepared for what the reflection reveals.
