Goblinz Publishing, renowned for titles like Overboss and Oaken, has launched a new Android game: Ozymandias. This 4X strategy game, reminiscent of the Civilization series, offers a streamlined experience focused on exploration, expansion, exploitation, and extermination. Read on for a closer look.
Blazing Fast Gameplay
Set in the Bronze Age, Ozymandias lets you explore diverse Mediterranean and European civilizations. While retaining the strategic depth of a classic 4X game—city building, army raising, and conquering opponents—it stands out with its remarkably fast-paced and simplified gameplay.
Unlike many 4X games that demand meticulous resource management, Ozymandias streamlines the process. Micromanagement is minimized, allowing for a quicker, more dynamic experience. Matches typically conclude within 90 minutes, comparable to a board game session. Simultaneous turns further accelerate gameplay.
The game features eight detailed historical maps and 52 unique empires, each with distinct characteristics that influence your strategic approach. Multiple game modes are available, including solo, multiplayer, and asynchronous options.

Ozymandias is available now on Android via the Google Play Store for $2.79. Developed by The Secret Games Company using Unreal Engine 4, it initially launched on Steam for PC in March 2022.
