NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After four years, this mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit title will be officially discontinued. While the PC and console versions remain unaffected, the mobile version will cease operation on March 20th, 2025.

For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival game. Players choose to be either a Killer, hunting down Survivors, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture and escape.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Timeline:

  • January 16th, 2025: The game will be removed from app stores.
  • March 20th, 2025: The game's servers will shut down completely.

Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide details on the refund process for in-app purchases on January 16th, 2025, adhering to regional regulations.

Existing players looking to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A special Welcome Package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be offered for in-game progress and spending on the mobile version.
