Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes its chilling Halloween update, adding spooky new characters and challenges to celebrate its 10th anniversary. This spooky season brings a thrilling new dimension to the Battlerealm.
The Halloween Event: A House of Horrors
Two terrifying new champions, Scream and Jack O’ Lantern, join the fray. Scream, the vengeful symbiote, and Jack O’ Lantern, with his sinister ability to transform victims into jack-o'-lanterns, promise a terrifying House of Horrors event. Players will assist Jessica Jones in solving a dark mystery leading to a nightmarish carnival.
A parallel event, Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt, challenges players in gladiator-style combat with weekly challenges and branching paths. This event runs from October 9th to November 6th.
10 Years of Battlerealm: Anniversary Celebrations
The Halloween festivities coincide with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is marking this milestone with ten major reveals, including character reworks for Medusa and Purgatory.
The Deadpool-themed Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza introduces an Alliance Super Season with collaborative bounty missions. A Venom-themed event, Venom: Last Dance, runs from October 21st to November 15th. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is currently live until October 30th, featuring new mechanics centered around buffs and critical hits.
60 FPS Update on the Horizon
A significant upgrade is coming: a 60 FPS gameplay update, launching on November 4th, will drastically improve the game's fluidity. Currently, the game is capped at 30 FPS.
