Honkai Impact 3rd ignites the new year with its latest update, "In Search of the Sun," arriving January 9th. This update delivers a wealth of new content, headlined by Durandal's exciting new battlesuit: Reign Solaris.
Reign Solaris, a Physical DMG dealer of the IMG type, presents a more agile and nimble Durandal. Players can switch between two distinct combat modes: Rampager, ideal for powerful charged attacks, and Skyrider, enabling swift battlefield movement. Durandal's signature weapons, the Valorous Effulgence and its PRI-ARM variant, Valorous Effulgence: New Voyage, are also available.
The storyline expands with "Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes," bringing back the Dreamseeker and her companion to the Mars system for further investigation into the Ten Shus war. This chapter promises intense action and emotional depth, including a new minigame, "On-Duty Work Guide," a 3D puzzle featuring Cube-ianka.
Beyond the main storyline, players can earn a share of 60,000,000 Crystals by progressing through story chapters (from a shared pool). The featured event, "Countdown: To Sweet Dreams," offers a more relaxed experience, featuring familiar characters like Mei, Theresa, and Fu Hua, a unique boss encounter, and a monster-trainer-style command system.
