HoYoVerse is making waves with back-to-back announcements! Following the reveal of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6, details about Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.8, titled "Planetary Rewind," have been unveiled.
Honkai Impact 3rd Version 7.8: Launching October 17th
This update brings exciting new battlesuits, events, and a plethora of rewards. A standout addition is Vita's new battlesuit, Lone Planetfarer, a MECH-type Lightning DMG dealer.
Lone Planetfarer boasts a striking peacock feather-adorned Drive Core and two distinct forms: Lone Traveler, utilizing elegant feathered loop attacks, and Planet Quaker, unleashing powerful laser beams upon activating the [ULT] ability. She's further enhanced by Astral Ring Specialization: Rite of Oblivion. The Divine Key Waxing Moon and its PRI-ARM variant, Divine Key Waxing Moon: Incipience, are also introduced.

Version 7.8 Main Story: The First and Last War
The main storyline, "The First and Last War," transports players a century back to Langqiu during the Ten Shus War, featuring Vita, Dreamseeker, Helia, and Coralie. Rewards include Crystals, Source Prisms, Seele's event stigma, and a new outfit for Dreamweaver.
Returning favorites include HOHO Vacation Tickets, and Elysian Realm now permanently offers LITE Combat. A celebratory login event from October 11th provides free Equipment Supply Cards and Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupons.
