Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller, Inazuma-focused adventure. The flagship event, centered around yokai and featuring Yae Miko prominently, will likely serve as Mizuki's introduction.
Mizuki's role as a playable character has been heavily speculated since late 2024. Beta testing for Version 5.4 confirmed her addition to the Standard Banner, alongside her abilities and intended gameplay. As a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst user, she functions similarly to Sucrose, but with added healing capabilities. This versatility should make her a valuable asset in many team compositions, particularly Taser teams.
While initially rumored to be a tapir yokai, the official reveal showcased Mizuki as a psychologist and the majority owner of the Aisa Bathhouse. Her established friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her integration into the Version 5.4 flagship event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also anticipated.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. It's crucial to remember Mizuki's transition to the Standard Banner post-Version 5.4; collectors may prioritize acquiring her signature weapon instead.
Compared to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more concise update. It includes only one new character, a single Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem acquisition will be below average. Players should strategically save their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, particularly if they aim to obtain highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
