NetEase has released comprehensive statistics on Marvel Rivals hero selection and win rates across all game modes. This data, covering the game's first month, reveals player preferences and performance insights before the launch of Season 1.
Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay popularity on both PC and console. However, Mantis boasts the highest win rate overall, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay and Competitive modes. Other top performers include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.
The most popular heroes across different modes and platforms are:
- Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
- Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
- Competitive (PC): Luna Snow
Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, suffers from a significantly low pick rate (1.66% in Quickplay, 0.69% in Competitive), attributed to perceived weaknesses in damage and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced substantial buffs for Storm in the upcoming Season 1 balance update, potentially altering her standing considerably.
Season 1, launching January 10th, will introduce the Fantastic Four (Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman initially, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing later in the season), promising significant gameplay shifts and likely impacting the current hero meta.
