Dead Island 2 New Update Brings New Game Plus, New Zombies and New Horde Mode

Dead Island 2's Patch 6 introduces thrilling new gameplay options! This update brings a challenging New Game Plus (NG+) mode, a fresh horde mode called "Neighborhood Watch," and exciting additions to the Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition.

Confront the Revenants in Dead Island 2's NG+

Dead Island 2's NG+ mode lets you restart the game at increased difficulty, retaining your inventory, character level, and skills. Three extra skill slots are unlocked, along with a higher level cap, new weapons, skins, and formidable new enemies: the Revenants. These enhanced Apex zombies boast new behaviors and increased power, promising a significant challenge. All weapons in NG+ are more powerful than their base game counterparts, with a greater variety of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.

Neighborhood Watch: A New Horde Mode

The update also introduces "Neighborhood Watch," a unique blend of horde and tower defense gameplay. Players defend their base over five in-game days, spending the first four repelling waves of enemies while completing objectives to earn valuable gear.
