Crunchyroll's mobile port of the rhythm-roguelike hit, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with fleeting appearances on iOS and Android, this enhanced version, titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," boasts a wealth of new content.
What awaits in the Crypt?
Players step into the rhythmically-challenged shoes of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter searching for her missing parent within a musically-infused crypt. The roguelike nature guarantees unique gameplay with each playthrough. Fifteen playable characters, each with distinct styles and challenges, await. Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack provides the pulse, demanding players move and attack in time with the music. Failure to keep the beat means certain doom! Expect encounters with a diverse cast of dancing enemies, from skeletons to hip-hop dragons.
More Than Just a Port:
This isn't a simple mobile conversion. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added remixes, fresh content, and even Danganronpa character skins, catering to anime fans. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Further exciting news: Hatsune Miku DLC and the Synchrony expansion are slated for release later this year.
Crunchyroll subscribers can download Crypt of the NecroDancer now from the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
