Critical Role Postpones Climax Amid Fires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The impact on the cast, crew, and community has necessitated this delay. While a return to streaming on January 16th is hoped for, further postponements remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its thrilling conclusion, with the recent episode ending on a significant cliffhanger. The exact number of remaining episodes is yet to be determined, but the end of the campaign is imminent, potentially followed by a new campaign using the Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th episode cancellation directly resulted from the wildfires. Several cast and crew members, including Matt Mercer, Marisha Ray, and Kyle Shire, experienced significant personal impacts. While many are safe, Kyle Shire unfortunately lost his home. The community is rallying around those affected, sharing updates and offering support.

Critical Role is actively contributing to wildfire relief efforts. The Critical Role Foundation has pledged a $30,000 donation to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. This demonstrates the show's commitment to its community, reflecting their motto: "Don't forget to love each other." Fans are encouraged to be patient and offer support where possible as the situation unfolds.
