AurumDust's latest RPG, Ash of Gods: The Way, a tactical card combat game, follows swiftly on the heels of Ash of Gods: Redemption. Already available on PC and Nintendo Switch, it's now open for pre-registration on Android.
What's New?
Building upon the tactical card combat and strong narrative of its predecessors, The Way boasts refined presentation and exciting new features. Players construct decks from four factions, utilizing warriors, gear, and spells, and compete in diverse tournaments with unique challenges and rules. With two decks, five factions, and 32 potential endings, the game offers significant replayability.
The story follows Finn and his three-person crew as they navigate enemy territory, participating in war game tournaments. Engaging, fully voiced visual novel segments punctuate the gameplay, featuring lively dialogue and character interactions. Four distinct deck types—Berkanan, Bandit, the defensively-oriented Frisian, and the aggressive Gellian—can be unlocked and upgraded, with no penalties for changing upgrades or factions. Strategic choices and character development drive the narrative, rather than plot twists.
