Apple Arcade's August update is smaller than usual, but packs a punch with three significant additions, including a Vision Pro title.
Leading the charge is Vampire Survivors+, a highly acclaimed bullet-hell game that redefined the genre. While other similar titles like Survivor.io preceded it on mobile, Vampire Survivors+ stands out as a top contender. Its arrival on August 1st is highly anticipated.
Next up is Temple Run: Legends, a fresh take on the classic endless runner. This version introduces a compelling storyline, character progression, and over 500 levels alongside the traditional endless mode. It also launches August 1st.
Lastly, Castle Crumble receives a major upgrade. Already a staple on Apple Arcade, this new iteration leverages the Apple Vision Pro for an immersive, spatial experience. Players can witness the physics-based destruction unfold directly before their eyes.
A Strong Showing for Apple Arcade
Despite a smaller number of overall additions, this month's Apple Arcade update delivers substantial value. A BAFTA-winning game, a revamped classic, and expanded Vision Pro support make this a noteworthy release.
